HRPA
Corporate / Toronto, On. / 2,110 sq.ft.
HRPA approached the project seeking to reposition its Toronto office as a space that actively reflects the organization's role as a leading voice and regulator within the HR profession. As member expectations and hybrid working patterns evolved, the existing office no longer supported the association's ambitions for member engagement, staff collaboration, or brand presence.
A dual-tone design strategy was adopted. Reception and boardroom areas were treated with a restrained, professional palette of navy and seafoam, prioritising clarity, natural light, and a calm first impression. Staff and collaborative areas embraced a bolder expression of the HRPA brand — deploying the organization's core colours (navy, coral, aqua) at scale, including an oversized abstract rendering of the HRPA wordmark as a feature wall treatment.
Furniture and material selections were similarly differentiated by zone: structured, corporate specification in formal areas, contrasted with sculptural, organic seating and communal work surfaces in social and collaborative settings — signaling a more human, approachable working culture consistent with HRPA's mission to "elevate the human in HR."
